New York Yankees pitcher Domingo Germán is ready to begin his rehab after suffering a setback on August 20.
Germán will launch this Tuesday night at the Tripla A branch of the organization and for now the expectation is that if all goes well he could rejoin the Bronx as a whole next week.
Prior to tonight’s game, the @Yankees made the following roster moves:
• Signed RHP Sal Romano (# 68) to a Major League Contract
• Designated RHP Brooks Kriske for assignment
Additionally, RHP Domingo Germán commences a rehab assignment today with Triple-A Scranton / Wilkes-Barre.

“Germán is scheduled to participate in a game on Tuesday, and then we will have a decision there whether he is ready to come back with us or not,” manager Aaron Boone told nj.com.
The Yankees enter the game this Tuesday with a mark of 80 wins and 64 losses.
