José Berríos, pitcher for the Toronto Blue Jays, shows frank recovery from abdominal discomfort that prevented him from continuing in last Tuesday’s game against the Rays.
The injury seemed more serious but the Puerto Rican made pre-competitive movements on Wednesday and the result was positive. It is expected that next Monday he will be facing the Rays in the MLB day and do not lose his turn in the rotation of manager Charlie Montoyo.
Jose Berrios was removed from the ballgame due to abdominal tightness in his left side. He was not made available postgame as he was receiving treatment, per club. #BlueJays

The Puerto Rican has shone with his new team since he was traded by the Minnesota Twins in late July. With the Canadian squad he has a 3.31 ERA, with a 1.18 whip and a 4 and 3 record, in 51.1 innings pitched.
