Cincinnati Reds manager David Bell signed a two-year contract extension on Wednesday, which will keep him in command of the team until the 2023 campaign.
The Reds are 4 games away from one of the NL wild card spots and possibly miss the playoffs in 2021, yet Bell has been able to put together a competitive team that could well be in the postseason for years to come.

Bell hopes to keep his entire coaching staff in the coming seasons, this after having managed to have a club with a positive record since 2020.
