Los Angeles Dodgers starter Max Scherzer has the first choice to be the team’s starter in Game 1 of the Championship Series against the Atlanta Braves in the MLB playoffs in 2021.

Scherzer is coming off the fifth and decisive game against the Giants in the Divisional Series, which Los Angeles won 2-1 and earned a place in the semifinal.
However, the plan has to be confirmed by the Dodgers and they will wait until shortly before the game against the Braves, this Saturday, to ratify or not Scherzer as their starter.
