Miami Marlins shortstop Miguel Rojas hit 500 at-bats on Friday night in the MLB and that has significant value to him.
Upon reaching that number of plate appearances, the option of 5.5 million dollars in the Venezuelan’s contract became official for the 2022 campaign. Two years ago Rojas signed two guaranteed seasons and the third was conditioned on this factor.
