“These players never fail”

The Real footballers who intervened in the victory of Ipurua received public congratulations from their coach. “Very happy”, declared Imanol Alguacil who left Eibar, “on an offensive level and, above all, defensively”. They are three points of gold in the consolidation of the fifth position. “If it is not clear what the team wants …”, said the coach with rhetorical ellipsis.

Imanol was enthusiastic about a nuance: that the Real “has killed themselves to pressure” against Eibar. “There is no doubt that these players never fail,” said Orio emphatically. He believes that it will be an enriching way to win. “It is good for us to know that we can be solvent in these situations,” says Imanol, claiming that “we have defended the result well until the end.”

Indeed, the Real stood with integrity to the test of the bombed by Eibar. “Here it is always difficult and it has been a life or death match,” says Imanol. His analysis is summarized in that “we have sometimes managed to overcome their pressure, in the first half the 0-1 was a short result and it is normal that if we leave them alive we will have to suffer,” he reasoned.

Imanol saw a Real “with a lot of personality and strong in defense”. Although after the break there were more chances for Eibar than for his pupils, he acknowledges that “the team has pushed a lot from start to finish.” Beauty is not only an aesthetic issue, according to Alguacil. “This game is also very bright,” he highlights, since “here it is about winning,” he emphasizes.

Isak scored the winning goal and consolidates his position as Real’s top gunner this season. “He’s ambitious, like me.” Imanol believes that his 14 goals “are few and he knows it.” Surely the demand of the coach is related to occasions like the one that the forward wasted with 0-1. “The important thing is that you have them.” Isak’s mistake was “more of Dmitrovic’s merit” for Alguacil, since the realist had “a lot of time to think, he was tired and at full speed.”

With all three points in a safe place, Imanol de Ipurua’s farewell was stately. “From here, all the strength in the world to Eibar and Mendilibar. There are five games left, hopefully they will recover from now on the path of triumphs. It is difficult, but they have options and I would like them to be saved ”.
